The North East Collaborative Outreach Programme and the Centre for Teaching and Learning are recruiting a Data Analyst (Research Assistant) to support the collection and analysis of programme data to inform our understanding of the impact of activities and interventions delivered in the region as part of the North East Collaborative Outreach Programme in the North East Region.

You will be responsible for the gathering and analysis of data and developing the partnerships understanding and usage of regional data sets such as UCAS, school attainment and progression data. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about widening participation with significant experience of collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data.

You will be based within the Centre for Teaching and Learning and will work as part of this academic team but will have direct reporting requirements to the NECOP Strategic Partnership and Senior Project Manager. 

The National Collaborative Outreach Programme is an Office for Students programme to support widening participation in specific targeted ‘cold spot’ ward areas.

Please be advised that due to a new minimum salary threshold of £30,000 per annum imposed by the UKVI, this post may not qualify for University sponsorship under Tier 2 of the points based system.
