The North East Collaborative Outreach Programme and the Centre for Teaching and Learning are recruiting an Evaluation Manager (Research Associate) to develop and lead the delivery of the evaluation strategy for the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) in the North East Region.

You will be responsible for growing a strong relationship between academic research and widening participation activities delivered by the North East Collaborative Outreach Programme (NECOP) to ensure that that NECOP (and Newcastle University as lead institution) is able to fully meet all reporting requirements. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about widening participation and is able to lead and develop regional widening participation symposiums to further our collective understanding of research in this field.  

You will be based within the Centre for Teaching and Learning and will work as part of this academic team but will have direct reporting requirements to the NECOP Strategic Partnership and Senior Project Manager.

You will be expected to have a doctorate qualification or equivalent research experience and a strong working knowledge and understanding of policies and practices relating to higher education.

The National Collaborative Outreach Programme is an Office for Students programme to support widening participation in specific targeted ‘cold spot’ ward areas.
