We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated post-doctoral Research Associate in the laboratory of Professor Zofia Chrzanowska-Lightowlers. The project will focus on investigating the function of members of the human mitochondrial gene expression.   

You must have experience in the biochemistry of mitochondrial translation, preferably with some bacterial translation experience and be in possession of a recent PhD in this research area. The position is based in the Wellcome Centre for Mitochondrial Research within the Institute of Neuroscience at Newcastle University.  

There are 2 positions available, tenable until 30/04/2022 and 31/07/2022.
