Salary: Lecturer Grade F £34,520 - £38,833 per annum
            Lecturer Grade G £39,992 - £47,722 per annum
            Lecturer Grade H £49,149 - £56,950 per annum

The School of Natural and Environmental Sciences (SNES) is seeking to appoint leading researchers to contribute to integrated programmes that address problems that span the agrifood chain. In support of our research focus in Precision Agricultural Systems, for this appointment in Agronomy we welcome applications from practitioners from either the academic or industrial sectors who are developing cutting edge approaches to improve soil and crop health.

You will hold a PhD in an agriculture-related subject and you should have an interest in solving problems in applied arable, or horticultural production, that can take advantage of the recent investments in the University research farms at Nafferton and Cockle Park and our partnership with Fera Science Ltd., in the joint Institute of Agrifood Research and Innovation.

You will join a large community of plant and soil scientists, who research and training interests span from foundational to translational science supported by industry, the research councils and applied funding bodies.   For any informal enquiries please contact Professor Robert Edwards.
